The Birds and Flights of Aviation Sectoral Conference is the most
up to date forum for aviation specialists from Russia and CIS, where the new knowledge is received and views on various issues regarding birdstrike prevention are shared.
The 3rd sectoral Conference Birds and Flights of Aviation was held on 23-25 November 2021 housed by Hanoi-Moscow aparthotel.
Topics of the 3rd Sectoral Conference
- the long-term plan of development of WHM in civil aviation of Russian Federation;
- the amendment of regulations and legal documents concerning WHM in civil aviation of Russian Federation;
- the increase of efficiency of WHM activities carried out by airports and airlines;
- the exploitation permission/ban of the sites neighboring aerodrome territory and attractive to birds.
Program / Reports
In accordance with the program, the participants have heard 18 reports and speeches, followed
by a final discussion of the key issues of wildlife hazard management. For the first time the sectoral conference
of 2021 included a training course on wildlife hazard management aimed to improve participants’ qualification.

Aviation Ornithology Group, participants from airports operating bioacoustic devices of
